That depends. For most it’s two to four weeks. The more often you wax on schedule (every four to five weeks) the less hair you will have between regular appointments.

Are You a Wax Virgin? (How to prepare and what to expect.)
- Hair must be ¼ of an inch long. That’s at least 3 to 4 weeks of growth. There may be some individual hair that grows a quarter inch in one week but you need an overall average so that's why the 3 to 4 weeks is much more important than what the length of the hair actually looks like.
- No sun tanning 24 hours before your waxing appointment.
- It’s perfectly acceptable to wax during your period at LuLu’s. We’re all girls anyway. What’s the big deal?
- Waxing can NOT be done over areas where you are currently applying prescription strength AHAs/BHAs, Rentin-A/Renitol creams and Glycolic Acid.
- Waxing does NOT make your hair grow in thicker or more coarse. If that were true bald men would be waxing their heads like crazy to get thick coarse hair! You are born with all the hair follicles you will ever have. Your genetics and hormones control your hair growth.
- Waxing the bikini can produce a hive-like appearance. This can last anywhere from 20 minutes to 24 hours. It’s VERY common. Do NOT freak out if this happens to you!
- Individuals currently taking Accutane are NOT suitable clients for waxing on any part of the body. They must wait six months after treatment is complete.
- After your appointment LuLu will give you all the information you need to look after your freshly waxed skin.
